Ashton Bour’s 4 TDs propel Chieftains

BASCOM — Hopewell-Loudon’s Ashton Bour had a game Saturday hosting Pymatuning Valley in a 37-22 non-league win.

Bour, who is a first-year starter at quarterback ran for three scores and threw for another.

He started the game with a 1-yard plunge into the endzone in the first quarter and passed the two-point conversion to Travis Milligan to give H-L (2-4) an 8-0 start.

Lance Crawford scored on a 6-yard run and Bour connected with Milligan for a 14-yard TD pass in the second quarter. Bour hit Ried Jury on the two-point conversion. The Chieftains led 24-8 at the half.

Pymatuning Valley got to within 24-14 after the third quarter, but H-L’s Bour ran in TDs of 1 and 3 yards to finish in the contest.

Bour had 272 total yards of offense, while Milligan had 73 yards receiving on five grabs.
