Clyde blanks Tornadoes in conference match

Clyde never surrendered a set Tuesday en route to a 5-0 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Columbian.

The victory bumped the Fliers to 10-3 overall and 6-1 in SBC play.

Emma Strudthoff beat Columbian’s Sammy Kimmet 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 singles, Klara Miller dropped Casey Knutson 6-2, 6-0 at No. 2, and Nathalie Cziesla defeated Anna Shipley 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.

Fliers Megan Barrett and Alyssa Laurer beat Erin Musil and Linzi Boos 6-2, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, while Hali Hagemeyer and Averie Fritz dropped Tornadoes Morgan Amory and Jaidyn Borer 7-6 (7-4), 6-2.

Ottawa-Glandorf overpowers Redmen

FOSTORIA — Fostoria claimed just one match Tuesday in a 4-1 loss to Ottawa-Glandorf.

The lone win for the Redmen (5-6) came at No. 3 singles, where Mya Weimerskirch beat Alyse Balbaugh 6-4, 6-2.

Ottawa-Glandorf’s Abby Schmiedebusch beat Abrianna Swartz 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 singles, and Emma Schmiedebusch defeated Maddie Cook 6-1, 6-2 at No. 2.

Titans Megan Ketner and Lauryn Bockrath dropped Raelyn Hoffman and Jenny Chasco 6-4, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Claire Ellerbrock and Sami Ellerbrock beat Imani Velazquez and Shay Olin 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2.

Truckers blank Bellevue

BELLEVUE — Norwalk defeated Bellevue 5-0 Tuesday in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.

Megan Berry gave the Truckers a 6-0, 6-0 No. 1 singles win against Rayven Whyde, Emma Trost dropped Summer Strunk 6-0, 6-4 at No. 2, and Lauren Metcalf beat Kaitlyn Cullen 6-2, 6-1 at No. 3.

Gabby Horowitz and Alexa Moore beat Redmen Sage Garcia and Leighann Motley 6-0, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles, and Mara Berry and Erin Bliele blanked Perla Monreal and Ella Little 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
