Rayven Whyde gave the Redmen (4-4, 2-2 SBC) a 6-2, 6-2 win at No. 1 singles against Sammy Kimmet, and Summer Strunk battled past Casey Knutson 6-2, 7-6 (9-7) at No. 2.
Redmen Sage Garcia and Leighann Motley clinched the victory by outlasting Allyson Rielly and Morgan Amory 5-7, 6-3, 6-2 at No. 1 doubles.
Columbian’s Anna Stephey beat Kaitlyn Cullen 6-2, 6-2 at No. 3 singles.
Tornadoes Linzi Boos and Erin Musil defeated Perla Monreal and Ella Little 6-1, 6-1 at No. 1 doubles.
Fliers dominate Vermilion
CLYDE — Clyde surrendered just two games Thursday en route to beating Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division foe Vermilion 5-0.
The closest matches for the Fliers came in singles play, where Nathalie Cziesla beat Karsyn Brewer 6-1, 6-0 at No. 1 and Gabby Castillo dropped Olivia Stacklin 6-0, 6-1 at No. 2.
Clyde (8-3, 4-1 SBC) took the third singles match via forfeit.
Megan Barrett and Alyssa Laurer defeated Emilly Smith and Hailee Mayer 6-0, 6-0 at No. 1 doubles, and Hali Hagemeyer and Averie Fritz blanked Maddy Wersch and Sydney Stackling 6-0, 6-0 at No. 2.
