Raiders top Chieftains, Blue Jackets

FOSTORIA — Connor Hill’s 39 led Lakota to a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division tri-match win Wednesday at Loudon Meadows. The Raiders topped New Riegel 178-184, while Hopewell-Loudon came in with a 200.

Ethan Longoria added a 45 for the Raiders, while Colt Dible, Jaden Bonnell and Marshall Minich all shot a 47. Ethan Klotz ended with a 51.

For New Riegel, Carson Whipple recorded a 44, while Sam Whipple tacked on a 45, Brandon Seifert shot a 46 and Jacob Theis finished the scoring with a 49. Dalton Reinhart carded a 51 and Eric Theis finished with a 52.

Luke Graham fired a 43 for the Chieftains. They also got 51s from Owen Schumm and Layne Myers and a 55 from Gabe Dohanyos. Brendon Blott (64) and Tyson Swanagan (66) also competed.

Rams get N10 win

NEW WASHINGTON — Upper Sandusky’s girls took down the defending Northern 10 Athletic Conference champion Buckeye Central Wednesday with a 234-279 victory.

Katie Clark paced the Rams (4-4, 2-1) with a 54 at Cranberry Hills. They also got a 58 from Liv Grier, a 59 by Haley Rowland and a 63 from Kendra Conley. Ellie Dible shot a 65 and MacKenzie Kidwell finished with a 73.

Izzy Niedermeir led the Bucks with a 65, while Eva Lewis registered a 67, Emily Brown shot a 73 and Megan Rhodes ended with a 74.

Streaks win SBC River tri

CLYDE — Fremont St. Joe had two scores in the 30s Wednesday to lift it over Old Fort and Sandusky St. Mary in a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division tri-match at Green Hills.

Garrett Michael led everyone with a 38, while teammate Parker Smith added a 39. St. Joe shot a 159, which bested Old Fort’s 170 and SMCC’s 207.

Lance Emerich shot a 40 for St. Joe, while Cole Stull added a 44.

Andrew Combs and Colin Nutter shot twin 40s for the Stockaders. They also got a 44 from Carson Steyer and a 46 by Kaleb Wilkinson. Adam Magers shot a 47 and Alec King finished with a 56.

Ashton Goff led St. Mary with a 42, while Casey Crooks had a 46 and Carson Kasper (55) and Brock Gill (64) finished the scoring.

Tigers edge Warriors

Every stroke matters, and that was evident Wednesday at Clinton Heights as Seneca East’s girls edged Mohawk 227-229 in a Northern 10 Athletic Conference match.

For Seneca East, Autumn Enders shot a 51, while Taylor Greilich added a 53, Jordan Kiesel shot a 61 and Makenna Depinet rounded out the scoring with a 62. Kayla Felter (64) and Quinn Rotruck (67) both played for Seneca East.

Alayna Kindle led Mohawk with a 53, Hayden Heilman added a 55, Kennedy Pettry shot a 58 and Josalyn Eader ended with a 63. Emmah Danner carded a 66 and Kaiden Mathias registered a 67.

SE boots Rockets

Jake Forehand lit up Clinton Heights Wednesday with a 35 to lead Seneca East to a 147-180 Northern 10 Athletic Conference victory.

Turner Bridgford carded a 36, Andrew Kalb added a 37 and Andy Bauman shot a 39 to complete the scoring. Nolan Jones shot a 49 and Jon Margraf ended with a 50.

Jesse Schertzer led Ridgedale with a 37, while Grant Park posted a 42, Xander Roth tacked on a 46 and Braxton Fosnaugh finished with a 55.

Golden Bears take down Chieftains

FOSTORIA — Sydney Leyerle fired a 34 for Gibsonburg in a 174-201 win over Hopewell-Loudon at Loudon Meadows.

Taylor Sworden shot a 45 for the Golden Bears (3-2). They also got a 46 from Morgan Albanese and a 49 by Olivia Paul. Ellie Stout (55) and Ashley Mendoza (57) also competed.

Kiley Cline continued her hot start to the season with a 38 for the Chieftains (2-3). Morgan Searles tacked on a 52, while Hannah Fought added a 55 and Kasey Thompson shot a 56. Emma Kidd carded a 61 and Abbey Yarris finished with a 66.

Newsome’s 42 fuels Fliers

CLYDE — Brooke Newsome recorded a 42 to lead Clyde to a 198-223 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division victory over Columbian at Green Hills.

Grace Pocock carded a 49 for the Fliers (3-1), while Margaret Hilliker added a 51 and Kennedy Brown fired a 56. Zoey Fairbanks registered a 60 and Felicity Hahl ended with a 67.

For TC, Ali Woessner posted a 53. It also got a 54 from Meredith Obringer, a 57 by Norah Smith and a 59 by Audrey Buskirk. Bailey Hull (60) and Carly Marie Beck (70) also competed for the Tornadoes.

Blue Devils down Falcons, Red Devils

ARLINGTON — Carey’s Carter Frederick and Brayden Miller both shot a 40 to lead the Blue Devils to a 162-174 win over Riverdale, while Arlington posted a 187.

McKain Miller and Ethan Tanner followed with 41s, while Peyton Young came in with a 44 and Kole Phillips recorded a 47.

Andrew Kuenzli led everyone with a 33 for the Falcons and Logan Below led Arlington with a 44.

Rams’ Montgomery fires a 34

UPPER SANDUSKY — Like he’s done for most of his career, Brett Montgomery earned medalist with a 34 for Upper Sandusky in a 160-181 win over Bellevue and Elmwood (232) at Lincoln Hills.

Owen Knapp compiled a 40 for the Rams, while Evan Young and Gavin Carey shot twin 43s. Benjamin Latham shot a 45 and Sam Smith had a 59.

Hayden Foos led Bellevue with a 43, while Hudson Strayer followed with a 44, Alex Martinez shot a 46 and Adam Hosang finished with a 48.

Oliver Smith led the Royals with a 53.
