Bullion tosses up milestone in Bellevue win

BELLEVUE — Senior setter Molly Bullion topped the 2,000-assist plateau for her career Thursday en route to helping Bellevue dominate Fremont Ross 25-10, 25-12, 25-11.

Bullion handed out 25 assists on a perfect 63-for-63 setting effort, giving her 2,021 assists in her career.

She also served a pair of aces. for the Redmen.

Taylor Baxter (2 aces) hammered 14 kills for Bellevue, Kailee Felder lined seven kills, Beyah Garcia drilled six kills and three blocks and Claire Turner smacked five kills. Madison Hrynciw added two aces.

Blue Jackets boot St. Joe

NEW RIEGEL — Aubrey Bouillon approached a triple-double and Kaitlyn Kirian controlled the net Thursday as New Riegel thumped Fremont St. Joe 25-11, 25-20, 25-7 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play.

Bouillon tallied nine kills, eight assists and eight digs for the Blue Jackets and Kirian crushed 10 kills and four blocks.

Mackenzie Kemenah (2 digs) backed them with five kills, five assists and four blocks for New Riegel.

Bowerman-led Tigers even mark

MORRAL — Jessica Bowerman nearly had a triple-double and Seneca East evened its record Thursday by beating Northern 10 Athletic Conference foe Ridgedale 25-14, 25-23, 25-21.

Bowerman (2 blocks) led the charge with 10 kills, 14 digs and eight assists for the Tigers (2-2, 2-0 N10).

Lauren Bogner came up with another 14 digs, Tori Fritz tallied 10 and Hillary Bogner had seven.

Katrina Kagy lined five kills and three aces for Seneca East, Mallory Beamer belted four blocks and Alexis Hicks had two blocks.

L-B thumps Chieftains

FINDLAY — Liberty-Benton raced past Hopewell-Loudon 25-13, 25-10, 25-8 Thursday.

Abbe Beidelschies handed out 11 assists for the Chieftains in the loss and Abbi Roerdink tallied 13 digs and six assists.

Grace Dohanyos came up with 11 digs, Elizabeth Wells smacked six kills, Olivia Savidge drilled four kills and Megan Kreais lined three kills.
