Blue Jackets drop Golden Bears

Carson Whipple got things going for New Riegel Monday with a 44 to lead the Blue Jackets past Gibsonburg, 184-218 in Sandusky Bay Conference River Division play at Seneca Hills.

Jacob Theis tacked on a 45 for New Riegel (3-3), while Dalton Reinhart added a 47 and Sam Whipple shot a 48. Eric Theis carded a 51 and Cole Miller finished with a 62.

Mitchel Delventhal led Gibsonburg (0-6) with a 48. It also got a 50 from Nick Tornow, a 57 by Jason Hasselbach and a 63 from Jacob Hacker.

Lady Red stay perfect

CLYDE — Olivia Martinez fired a 39 to lead Bellevue to a 178-211 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division victory over Columbian at Sleepy Hollow.

Lara Spurlock followed Martinez with a 44 for Bellevue (5-0), while Tea Layne added a 47 and Isabel Sanchez ended with a 48. Aubrey Michaels and Keyara Schneider each shot a 49.

For TC (0-4), Meredith Obringer registered a 46. It also got a 52 from Bailey Hull, a 53 from Ali Woessner and a 60 by Audrey Buskirk. Norah Smith (70) and Carly Marie Beck (74) also competed for the Tornadoes.

Strayer’s 40 leads Redmen

CLYDE — Bellevue had all four players in the low 40s Monday to defeat Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division rival Columbian 168-185 at Sleepy Hollow.

Hudson Strayer led everyone with a 40 for Bellevue, while Layne Krupp recorded a 42 and Alex Martinez and Adam Hosang shot twin 43s. Hayden Foos shot a 44 and Aaron Brubaker had a 49.

Griffin Bunting led TC (0-3) with a 42. Brenton Brown (43), Collin Anway (49) and Cole Routzahn (51) rounded out the scoring. Zavier Sherman carded a 53 and Jimmy Skidmore posted a 59.

Stockaders get SBC win

CLYDE — Carson Steyer and Kaleb Wilkinson shot twin 40s to lead Old Fort over Hopewell-Loudon 164-191 at Green Hills for a Sandusky Bay Conference River Division victory.

Colin Nutter and Andrew Combs each recorded a 42 for the Stockaders. Jack DeRan shot a 46 and Adam Magers came in with a 47.

Owen Schumm posted a 45 for the Chieftains. They also got 46s from Luke Graham and Layne Myers and a 54 by Tyson Swanagan. Walker Suter shot a 57 and Gabe Dohanyos finished with a 63.

Royals best BC

NEW WASHINGTON — Wynford got the better of Buckeye Central Monday in a 243-282 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win at Cranberry Hills.

Izzy Niedermier led BC with a 65, while Cadence Vaughn recorded a 69 and Eva Lewis and Emilee Brown both shot a 74.
