Blue Devils win tri-match
FOSTORIA — McKain Miller’s 39 boosted Carey to a tri-match win over Hopewell-Loudon and New Riegel Monday at Loudon Meadows.
Carey shot a 174, while H-L had a 197 and New Riegel finished with a 204.
Ethan Tanner added a 43 for Carey, while Carter Frederick had a 45, Brayden Miller and Peyton Young each shot a 47 and Kole Phillips ended with a 48.
Luke Graham carded a 41 to lead H-L. It also got a 50 from Owen Schumm and 53s from Layne Myers and Tyson Swanagan. Brandon Blott (58) and Gabe Dohanyos (60) also played.
Jacob Theis’ 46 led the way for the Blue Jackets, while Brandon Seifert (51), Sam Whipple (53) and Carson Whipple (54) and Dalton Reinhart shot twin 54s. Cole Miller (58) also competed.
Rams edge Tigers
UPPER SANDUSKY — It was close in the end, but Upper Sandusky came away with a 231-235 Northern 10 Athletic Conference win over Seneca East at Lincoln Hills.
Kendra Conley was the medalist with a 52 for the Rams. They also got a 59 from Katie Clark and 60s by Olivia Barth, Haley Rowland and Liv Grier. MaKenzie Kidwell shot a 68.
For SE, Autumn Enders recorded a 55, Jordan Kiesel shot a 58, Taylor Greilich added a 59 and Kayla Felter finished with a 64. Makenna Depinet registered a 65 and Sarah Jones ended with a 73.
Cline’s 44 propels H-L
OAK HARBOR — Hopewell-Loudon’s Kiley Cline led everyone with a 44 Monday to lead the Chieftains to a 222-261 victory against Danbury.
Backing Cline for H-L were Morgan Searles with a 56, Olivia Zender with a 58 and Hannah Fought, who carded a 64.
Abbey Yarris shot a 65 and Kasey Thompson ended with a 66.
Kamil Stephens recorded a 59 for the Lakers. Emma Holzaepfel had a 63, Lily Veverka added a 67 and Alexis Wunder finished with a 72.
Findlay wins Fostoria Invitational
FOSTORIA — Findlay bested Genoa by three strokes to win the Fostoria Invitational at Lakeland Monday.
The Trojans topped the Comets, 304-307, while Fostoria didn’t field a full team.
Noah Damschroeder led Fostoria with a 126, while Libby Welly added a 133and Blaine Groves had a 172.
Old Fort dominates at Red Hawk
FINDLAY — Old Fort shot its best 18-hole score this season Monday with a 339, blowing by Van Buren and Galion in a tri-match at Red Hawk.
Old Fort topped the Black Knights by 53 strokes, while Galion shot a 466.
Carson Steyer led the Stockaders with a 78, while Kaleb Wilkinson shot a 79. Andrew Combs added an 88 and Colin Nutter and Jack DeRan both shot a 94. Adam Magers carded a 95 and Alec King finished with a 96.
Van Buren got a 92 from Mason Greenawalt and Galion’s best was Jason Guthridge’s 101.
