n In the Old Fort Ex-Hi Over 50 Golf League, Brad Fry and Ron Rau lead the second five weeks with nine points. Dick Hull had the long putt on No. 3, while Brad Fry had the closest third shot on No. 4. Sleepy Johnson was closest to the pin on No. 9.

n Larry Miller and Chuck Eingle won the second-third of the Wednesday Night Men’s Catholic League at Seneca Hills in a playoff. Adam Smiuth and Mark Miller lead the final third with 28 points, Smith shot the low gross with 33. Smith, Bud Witsman, Tom Ritzler and Brad Hess each had a 31 for low net.

n The team of Kyle Daugherty and Glenn Fogle lead the Thursday Night League at Seneca Hills with 93 points. In second is the team of Bud Witsman and Denny Krupp with 92 points. Prize hole winners were Rich Terry (long drive, No. 7), Bill Hill (closest to the pin, No. 2) and Glenn Fogle (long putt, No. 8).

CAMP: Heidelberg athletics is accepting registrations for its annual All-Sports Youth Camp. Pushed from its original date because of the school’s berth into the Division III Baseball World Series, the camp occurs Aug. 5. BASEBALL: Tiffin D-League will have fall baseball again this year. The league is open for boys and girls age 10-12. Ten-year-olds must turn turn 11 before May 1, 2020, and players who turn 13 before May 1, 2019, are ineligible. This is for individuals only, no matter where you live. n The Seneca East Summer Baseball Club will work on a project at Myers Park in Attica to remove and replace the outfield fence in early August. VICTORY DAY: Tiffin University will hold its second annual Victory Day 10 a.m.-noon Aug. 17 at Frost-Kalnow Stadium. The free event provides 30 cognitively- and physically-impaired children the opportunity to play football or cheer. Each child will partner with a TU football player or cheerleader who will serve as their mentor for the day. Participants will wear a TU game jersey and participate in several game-day activities. SOCCER: Tiffin Soccer Club will hold training sessions for players age 11-14 later this year. Tentative plans call for two training sessions per week, with the first on either Monday or Tuesday and the second on Thursdays, running 5:30-6:30 or 7 p.m., beginning in August and ending in late October. The sessions occur on Hidden Valley Soccer Complex at Hedges-Boyer Park. Games are also anticipated against teams in the East Suburban Soccer League. Cost is $75 per player. RUN: The Sixth Annual Boots to Soes 5K Run, Walk and Kids Fun Run will be at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Attica Fairgrounds, 15127 E. Township Rd 12. There is a $20 registration fee, while the Fun Run (ages 5-12) is $7. The check-in will be from 7:30-8:15 a.m. Snacks, water and a prize raffle are available to all participants.
