GIRLS BASKETBALL: Former Tiffin University point guard and assistant coach Kylene Biggs, who later was the head coach at Lawrence Tech University in Michigan, will be having a player development camp from 10:30 a.m.-noon today at Fostoria High. The clinic is for players in sixth-through-12th grade and costs $40 per kid. The clinic will cover individual development on both ends of the floor, a 20-minute talk on what college coaches are looking for, and answers to any questions. GOLF: Andy Howard and Dennis Gase lead the second-third of the Men’s Wednesday Night Catholic League at Seneca Hills with 29 points, Denny Krupp shot the low gross with a 34 and Dennis Green and Jack Houck tied for the low net with 29s.

n Bill Stallsworth, Paul Koblitz, Dan Kenner,and P.J. Hufford combined to shoot 14 under par to win the Bump’s Tuesday Traveling Group scramble at The Legends in Massilon. Coming in second at 12 under par was the team of Jim Banks, Paul Donaldson, Dick Reuhle, and Corey Banks. A makeup date at Lakeland Golf Club near Fostoria will be held this Friday beginning at 9:30, weather permitting. Next week’s regular outing will be held at Sycamore Springs near Arlington beginning at 9:30 a.m.. Players should arrive no later than 9:10 for both outings. n In the Baumann Women’s Monday Night Scramble League at Clinton Heights, Sandy Burns was closest in two on No. 2, while Geri Hammer was closest to the 150 marker on No. 4 and Pam Moyer had the long drive on No. 6. Moyer and Kerry Jones had the low gross with 38, and the teams of Donna Thacker and Stephanie Miller and Bria Gibson and Tori Lee had the low net.
