Dryfuse, Blue Jackets power past Raiders

NEW RIEGEL — New Riegel outscored Lakota 26-14 over the middle quarters and Ben Dryfuse led all scorers Tuesday as the Blue Jackets powered their way to a 59-33 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win.
The Blue Jackets (6-3, 4-1 SBC) led just 11-9 at the first stop, but outscored Lakota 14-6 in the second period and 12-8 in the third to go up 37-23.
Dryfuse popped in 23 points and grabbed seven rebounds and four steals.
Dylan Smith backed him with 10 points, Cole Noftz hauled in six boards and Austin Lescallett dished four assists.
Tyler Wehrle tallied 10 points and six boards for the Raiders (2-10, 0-6) and Braden Schaser had three steals and three assists.
Stockaders roll past Danbury
OLD FORT — Old Fort controlled the first half and put the hammer down in the third period Tuesday on the way to beating Danbury 78-57.
The Stockaders led 19-13 by the end of the first period and 43-30 at halftime before turning in a 24-8 scoring surge in the third period to all but lock up the win.
Jacob Webb sparked Old Fort (7-5) with 22 points, six assists and four steals.
Carson Steyer chipped in 14 points and eight rebounds, Zach DeWese scored 12 points, A.J. Steyer netted nine points, Mason Salas had eight oints and eight rebounds, and Luke Wagner dished four assists.
Williams pushes Blue Streaks past Redmen
SANDUSKY — Keith Williams fueled a surge over the middle quarter Tuesday to key Sandusky’s 65-52 Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division win against Bellevue.
Bellevue led 16-11 after the first quarter, but Williams netted six points in the second to help the Blue Streaks enter halftime up 27-22 before adding nine in the third as Norwalk pushed its advantage to 46-37.
Williams finished with 20 points, Dylan Jones scored 14, Tahj Stavskie chipped in 12 and Bryce Boulwin ended with nine for the Blue Streaks (8-4, 5-2 SBC).
Trey Ruhlam scored 21 points for the Redmen (6-4, 3-3), Jake Waskielis had 16 and Caleb Marshall tallied eight.
Quick start sparks Truckers over Columbian
NORWALK — Norwalk jumped out 22-3 by the end of the first quarter and added a 16-4 burst in the third Tuesday on the way to beating Columbian 67-32 in Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division play.
Garrett Chapin scored 15 points for the Truckers (4-7, 3-3 SBC) and Bradnon Haraway tossed in 10.
The Tornadoes (2-9, 0-6), who trailed 38-20 at halftime, got 10 points from Jared Akers and eight from Braden Brown.
