3-ON-3 TOURNAMENT: The second Bascom Shootout 3-on-3 basketball tournament will be July 23. The tournament is to be at Meadowbrook Park starting at noon. Registration starts at 10 a.m. The cost is to be $32 per team and there can be up to four players on a team. There will be a T-shirt and Gatorade provided. All proceeds will be donated to a special cause. There are three age groups for the tournament: Kindergarten-sixth grade, grades 7-12 and 19 years and older. Everyone is welcome to participate and the tournament is open to the community. Donations will be accepted the day of the event. SOFTBALL TOURNAMENT: The 37th Annual Oak Harbor All-Nighter Softball Tournament will be July 21-22. The cost is $160 per team ($12 a game for the umpire). The 20th Annual Laurie Mann All-Nighter will be July 28-29. Call or text Mike Williamson at (419) 603-7687 to enter.

GOLF: Ed Lutz, Paul E. Fey, Ken Zeop and Brian Krauss tied the team of Fraon Michniak, Paul Hannay, Joe Weaver and Tom Miller at 1-under to win Monday’s Retiree League at Seneca Hills. Prizes went to Rufus Tyree (closest to pin on No. 16), Tim Mannas (long putt on No. 10) and Dutch Edeburn (low gross of 36).

n The second-third of the Monday Morning Reineke Two-man Scramble at Clinton Heights was won by the team of Skip Halcomb and Dick Hull with 39 points. Prizes were awarded to John Armstrong (closest on one on No. 14; long putt on No. 10), Kirk Steffanni (closest in two on No. 13) and Mike Hampp (closest in three on No. 17).

n The front nine scramble in the Lakeland Senior League ended in a three-way tie for first. The team of Bob Deckard, Dave Nye and Ralph Lazenby tied with Rob Greer, Ron Saklosky, Mike Todd and Jack Fenton at 3-under. The third team at the top was Ron Minard, Rick Judy, Jim Young and Dick Kozlowski while also claiming the win on the back nine stableford.

* Becky Mouradian and Sharon Smith tied with Sandy Burns and Keli Burns for the high net at the Baumann Women’s Monday Night Scramble League at Clinton Heights. Sandy Burns had the most putts, while Joyce Gibson and Susan Gibson lead the league with 42 points. Bar Kuhn and Carla Siebenaller had the low gross at 39.

BASEBALL: Wyandot Boys 12u travel team tryouts for the 2018 season are to be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday at Upper Sandusky High School. Tryouts are to take place on Field 2. Contact Todd Frey at (419) 310-1690 with questions.
