GIRLS BASKETBALL: Former Tiffin University point guard and assistant coach Kylene Biggs, who later was the head coach at Lawrence Tech University in Michigan, will be having a player development camp from 10:30 a.m.-noon Wednesday at Fostoria High. The clinic is for players in sixth-through-12th grade and costs $40 per kid. The clinic will cover individual development on both ends of the floor, a 20-minute talk on what college coaches are looking for, and answers to any questions. GOLF: In the Baumann’s Lofay Construction 2-Man Scramble at Clinton Heights, the team of Chris Bentz and Kory Staib leads the North Division with 8 ½ points. The teams of Brent Hemminger and Dave Pitchford and Mark Smith and Paul Van Horn are tied for second with seven points each. In the South Division, the team of Marc Strausser and Seth Merlowe lead with eight points, while the team of Jeremy Nutter and Josh Predieri are in second with 7 ½ points. Tony Sherer had the long putt on No. 4, while Alex Scheiber was closest in two on No. 6 and closest to the pin on No. 8. Will Rennells and Jason Halbisen won skins on No. 6 and Rick Steiner and Jim Reinhart won skins on No. 7 and No. 9.

n Don Kin, Dutch Edeburn, Steve Meier, Ray Krupp and Tim Mannas shot 1-under par to win Mondays Retirees league at Seneca Hills. Prize winners were Krupp (long putt on No. 7), Dick Best (closest to the pin on No. 6). Herb Love and Kin shot the low gross of 35.
