PRE-SALE TICKETS: Pre-sale tickets for Thursday’s Seneca East girls district semifinal against Norwalk St. Paul are on sale in the high school office until this afternoon. Adult tickets are $6 and student tickets are $4. The game is scheduled for 6:15 p.m. at Willard High School.
n Pre-sale tickets for the New Riegel/Arcadia girls district game will be available in the New Riegel High School Office from 7:45 a.m. to 3:15 p.m. today. Pre-sale tickets are $6 for adults and $4 for students. All tickets at the gate are $7. This will not be a split session.
GOLF: The K of C League will have the annual February meeting tonight at 7 p.m. At the K of C Council Hall. Discussion will be on fees, rule changes and calendar.
BASEBALL: Sign up for the Mohawk district summer league baseball and softball is Saturday and March 7 from 9-11:30 a.m. at the Mohawk High School cafeteria. Students currently enrolled in grades K-8 interested in playing in Melmore, McCutchenville or Sycamore can sign up on these dates. n Tiffin Cal Ripken D League baseball is registering players age 11 to 13. This is for returning players and new players wanting to play in the league this year. The meeting is March 7 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Tiffin Seneca Public Library Kernan room. The cost is $40 per individual with discounts for multiple players in same household playing this league and need to bring birth certificate for new players in the league. The D League is a 50/70 major division in Cal Ripken. This is open to any player whether they are boys or girls living in Tiffin, Seneca and surrounding counties. SOFTBALL: The first organizational meeting for all coaches of the Sen-San-Wyan girls league is March 4 at 7 p.m. at the Upper Room at St. Joseph Activity Center on Melmore Street in Tiffin. This instructional league is open to all girls in the surrounding areas. No girl will be denied participation on their home team. This league is for any interested girls who has completed kindergarten through eighth grade. Any new team that would like to join must send a representative to the meeting. BOWLING: Robin Brownell bowled a 171 for the high game in the Allen Eiry League, while also having the high series with a 301. Dave Everhart rolled a 172 for the high men’s game and Jim Donaldson (314) bowled the high series.
