BOYS JUNIOR HIGH BASKETBALL: Brayden Roggow tossed in 15 points and Damien Brockington and Issac Garcia each scored 10 to fuel Tiffin’s 78-26 eighth grade win against Margaretta. All 11 Tornadoes (5-0) scored, with Brady Gooding chipping in nine points and Bryce Roggow and Jameson Godfrey each tallying eight.

GIRLS JV BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon held off Lakota 26-22 Friday. Allie Milligan scored 11 points for H-L and Abby Daniel had nine.

n Wynford beat Mohawk 48-25.

n Carey doubled up New Riegel 44-22. Miah Ritter and Julia Brodman both scored 10 points for Upper Sandusky. Brienna Norville netted nine points for New Riegel and Ella Wank had six.

n Seneca East beat Upper Sandusky 47-30

BOYS JV BASKETBALL: Colonel Crawford beat Seneca East 50-29. Cody Heibertshausen scored 10 points for Seneca East.

n Upper Sandusky beat Buckeye Central 61-32.

n Calvert defeated Fremont St. Joe 66-21. The Senecas were led by Bob Price with 19 points and Max Paul with 12.

n Hopewell-Loudon defeated Gibsonburg 45-40. Gabe Dohanyos paced the Chieftains with 13 points, Dan Lommerse added 11 and Walker Suter had 10.

n Mohawk beat Bucyrus 73-28, getting 10 points each from Bryce Lange and Nathan Geary.

n Landen Barr scored 14 points to lead Old Fort past Sandusky St. Mary 51-38. Myles Miller, Jonah Englehart and Isaac Snyder each added nine points for the Stockaders.

n Wynford beat Carey 61-34.

GIRLS BASKETBALL: MaKayla Elmore had a big double-double and Kaia Woods approached a triple-double Friday in Hopewell-Loudon’s 82-39 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win against Lakota. Elmore tallied 30 points, 12 rebounds, five assists and five steals, and Woods turned in 11 points, 10 steals and eight boards. Olivia Zender netted another 24 points for the Chieftains, Morgan Searles scored eight points and Hope Kreais and Abbe Beidelschies both snared three steals. Alexa Gabel’s 18 points led the Raiders. Carlie Foos added 10 points and four assists, Kendra McDole grabbed seven rebounds and Parris Hagemann had three steals.

CYO BOYS BASKETBALL: Kalida St. Michael’s beat All Saints, New Riegel 60-38. All Saints was led by Adam Daniel with 14 points, while Zach Zoeller added 10 and Isaac Gaietto ended with six.
