VARSITY BOYS BASKETBALL: Hopewell-Loudon had three players score in double figures Thursday in a 76-47 Sandusky Bay Conference River Division win over Danbury. The Chieftains led 21-10 after the first stop and cruised from there. Travis Milligan led H-L with 17 points, while Jordyn Jury chipped in 16 and Ried Jury scored 13. Carter Coffman tallied nine points, 11 rebounds and four assists. The Chieftains improved to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in the SBC River.
JV GIRLS BASKETBALL: Carey defeated Wynford 40-38.
n Mohawk beat Arcadia 30-12. Jessie Weir and Claire LaRoche each scored eight points for Mohawk.
JV BOYS BASKETBALL: Calvert defeated Gibsonburg 45-36. Jackson Seislove led the Senecas with 21 points, backed by Bob Price’s eight.
n Landen Barr scored 17 points and Myles Miller had eight to key Old Fort’s 38-17 win against Fremont St. Joe.
JUNIOR HIGH GIRLS BASKETBALL: Calvert’s eighth grade beat Sandusky St. Mary 35-33. Mikenna Kancler had 14 points, Alyssa Rishty had 12 points and Brooklyn Brown had four.
n Fostoria seventh grade stayed undefeated in league play with a 43-14 win against Eastwood. Lyrique Johnson led with 21 for Fostoria.
n Old Fort’s seventh grade beat Gibsonburg 31-10, getting 14 points from Makenzie Fortney and 13 from Mika Steyer.
n Maci Miller netted 17 points to key Old Fort’s 40-10 eighth grade win against Gibsonburg. Addision Gillmor added six points for the Stockaders and Trinity Quaintance and Audra Miller each had five.
n Calvert’s eighth grade beat 29-23. Alyssa Rishty and Caroline Lanicek each had eight points for Calvert and Brooklyn Brown had seven.
n Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade beat New Riegel 15-10. Sidney Brickner led H-L with seven points and Addison Siebenaller added six.
n Hopewell-Loudon beat New Riegel’s eighth grade 33-29 in overtime. Carley Coffman led H-L with 21 points and Jillian Levengood had five.
JUNIOR HIGH BOYS BASKETBALL: Tiffin’s eighth grade beat Perkins 42-28 to improve to 4-0. Brayden Roggow scored 12 points for the Tornadoes, Bryce Roggow netted 10 and Nathan Arend tossed in eight.
n All of Old Fort’s players scored in an 81-14 eighth grade win against Gibsonburg.
n Aiden Hines scored 13 points and Caden Fritz had seven to lead Seneca East’s eighth grade past Ridgedale 42-37.
n New Riegel’s seventh grade beat Hopewell-Loudon 33-25. Braylon Martinez scored 12 points for H-L and Zavier Young tossed in seven.
n Blake Berrier scored 17 points to key Hopewell-Loudon’s 39-31 eighth grade win against New Riegel. Caden Ritchey and Carter Yarbrough each backed him with nine points.
n Mohawk beat Buckeye Central 36-13 in seventh grade play. Kahne Hayman led the victors with 14 points and Ben Bogner added six.
n Old Fort beat Gibsonburg 39-19 in seventh grade action, getting 13 points from Ryan Adelsperger and six from Griffin Miller.
BOWLING: In the Allen Erie Bowling League, Dianne Smith had the high women’s game with a 139, while Robin Brownell had the high series with a 252. For the men, Jim Donaldson had the high game (187) and the high series (346).
