n The Monday Morning Seniors League at the Front 9 ended in a two-way tie for first at 5 under. The team of Jim Radcliff, Chuck Wilbert, George Wolpf and Mike Hampp tied the team of Ray Tittle, Jim Montz, Steve Scheiber and Jon Eakin. Prize holes went to Hampp (closest in one) and Eakin (closest in two and three).
n In the Monday Senior Shamble League at Clinton Heights, there was a two-way tie at 2 under. They were Dave Purnell, Skip Holcomb, Fred Smith and Ray Nutter and the other team was Denny Harper, Jim Ruess, Gary Espejo and Jack Snay. Ruess had the low gross with a 34.
JV VOLLEYBALL: Buckeye Central took down Galion 25-17, 25-19.
n Mohawk beat New Riegel 16-25, 25-18, 25-9. For Mohawk, Kennedy Cleveland compiled 13 assists, seven digs and a pair of kills, while Emma Golling had 12 digs, Lilly Hammer made 10 digs and Emily Klopp ended with six kills and a pair of blocks.
FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk downed New Riegel 25-13, 25-23 as Olivia Wise had four aces and five assists for the Warriors. Elly Coffman added two aces and four kills.
JV TENNIS: Clyde’s Alyssa Eisenhower, Gabby Castillo, Amber Fay and Becca Clapp all won a match against Perkins.
JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Seneca East’s eighth grade topped Upper Sandusky 23-25, 25-13, 25-15. Abbi Drosky had seven kills and seven aces for the Tigers, while Caroline Kagy added nine kills and three aces, Kristen Webster served four aces and Leah Drown ended with two kills and seven aces.
n Seneca East’s seventh grade beat Upper Sandusky 25-21, 25-11 as Natalie Daniel compiled three assists, five kills and three aces for SE. It also got four assists and four kills from Jaidyn Kagy and three aces and a kill by Regan Stawser.
n New Riegel’s eighth grade topped Lakota 25-20, 26-28, 25-11. Alayna Schalk had 18 assists and five aces, while Katie Dryfuse tacked 14 digs, nine kills and a pair of blocks and Olivia Schalk ended with 12 digs and eight kills.
n Lakota’s seventh grade topped New Riegel 25-13, 25-19. For NR, Kelsey Bodart had an ace, 10 digs and two kills, while Ashlyn Bouillon had two aces, nine digs and three assists and Audrey Bumb finished with two kills and five digs.
n Hopewell-Loudon’s eighth grade defeated Old Fort 20-25, 25-9, 25-19 as Isabelle Beidelschies tallied four aces, six digs and three kills for H-L. It also got 17 assists, three aces and eight digs from Lydia Walters, four aces, seven digs and five kills from Kendall Eilrich, four aces and three kills by Anna Daniel, 10 kills by Carley Coffman, eight digs from Kylee Malagon, four digs by Ava Kirian and three aces by Audrey Hoover.
n Hopewell-Loudon’s seventh grade defeated Old Fort 25-18, 27-25. For H-L, Sidney Brickner recorded 11 assists and two digs, while Olivia Bishop had four aces, seven kills and eight digs, Addison Siebenaller added three aces and a pair of digs, Isabella Humphrey slammed five kills, Brynn Sendelbach collected two kills and two digs and Raegan Miller made three digs.
