JV VOLLEYBALL: Buckeye Central beat Carey 25-16, 25-14.

n Upper Sandusky beat Bucyrus 25-10, 25-6.

n Kennedy Cleveland registered 13 digs, five kills and five assists to fuel Mohawk’s 25-9, 21-25, 25-21 win against Seneca East. Emma Golling added 13 digs for the Warriors and Bailey Sheets had 12.

n Old Fort beat Clyde 25-4, 25-13. Jaislynn Woodall had seven kills and two aces for the Stockaders, while Jillian Stover added six kills and five aces, Alyssa Hoerig tallied two aces, five digs and 14 assists and Breanna Hoerig ended with four aces and eight digs.

FRESHMAN VOLLEYBALL: Mohawk beat Seneca East 25-11, 25-12, thanks to Olivia Wise’s nine aces and five assists.

JV SOCCER: Marion Pleasant beat Upper Sandusky 1-0.

GOLF: The Seneca Hills Retiree’s League’s new start time is 10 a.m. starting Monday with sign-in at 9:30 a.m.

n Mike Gibson defeated Ray Nutter to win the Phat Cakes Par Tee League title Wednesday in an 18-hole match. Gibson won with 35 points to Nutter with 33. the league banquet/fun night will be Tuesday at Clinton Heights. The league rules and other issues will be discussed at the banquet.

GAME CHANGE: Columbian’s home boys soccer game Tuesday with Upper Sandusky will be varsity only, starting at 5 p.m.
