RESULTS POLICY: Coaches turning in results for any sport are reminded to use full names for all athletes. Handwriting must be legible. Photos of scorebooks must be in focus and well lit. Records should be included. Results for high school and college events must be turned in that day by 9:30 p.m. All other events must be turned in by 8 p.m. Turn in results via E-mail at sports@advertiser-tribune.com, fax at (419) 447-3274, telephone at (419) 448-3250 or in the drop box by the paper’s front door at 320 Nelson St. Results must be turned in the day of the event. Depending on time constraints, games and events turned in which do not include full names or are turned in late may not have recaps written about them. Results which are unreadable will not be included in the paper.

JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Calvert’s seventh grade slipped past Sandusky St. Mary’s 25-18, 19-25, 27-25. Calvert’s Addison King had five kills and four aces, while Allison Ott added three assists, three kills and five digs. Addison King had four aces, while Shelby Michaels had three aces and Alyssa Rishty had three aces, four assists and four kills.

CASINO TRIP: New Riegel Athletic Boosters will have a casino bus trip to Eldorado Scioto Downs Oct. 13 leaving New Riegel High at 7:30 a.m. and returning by 5:30 p.m. Cost is $35, which includes $20 free play and $5 for food. BASEBALL CAMP: The Heidelberg University Prospect Camp is Oct. 20 for high school freshmen through juniors, with check-in at 8:30-9 a.m. Cost is $80 for position and pitcher (dual), $70 for position player and $50 for pitcher only. There will be a showcase (9-11:30 a.m.), lunch/position specialty (11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m.), pitcher specialty (noon-12:30 p.m.) and a live game (1-5 p.m.). GOLF: The team of Ted Rombach, Jim Hoffbauer, Gary Kroeger and Wade Burger bested nine other teams to finish at 7 under in the Senior League at Clinton Heights. Two teams tied for second at 5 under. Prize holes went to Gary Hohman (closest in one), Hoffbauer (closest in two), Ed Lutz (closest in three) and Jim Radcliff (long putt).
