RESULTS POLICY: Coaches turning in results for any sport are reminded to use full names for all athletes. Handwriting must be legible. Photos of scorebooks must be in focus and well lit. Records should be included. Results for high school and college events must be turned in that day by 9:30 p.m. All other events must be turned in by 8 p.m. Turn in results via E-mail at sports@advertiser-tribune.com, fax at (419) 447-3274, telephone at (419) 448-3250 or in the drop box by the paper’s front door at 320 Nelson St. Results must be turned in the day of the event. Depending on time constraints, games and events turned in which do not include full names or are turned in late may not have recaps written about them. Results which are unreadable will not be included in the paper.

HOLE-IN-ONE: Carl Rainey aced the 97-yard par-3 No. 11 at Clinton Heights with a gap wedge. John Eakin, Harry Smith and Jim Radcliff witnessed the shot.

JV TENNIS: Clyde’s Gabby Castillo won a match against Lima Central Catholic.

JV VOLLEYBALL: Monroeville beat Mohawk 25-18, 25-15. Emma Golling and Kennedy Cleveland each gave Mohawk 13 digs, with Cleveland crushing six kills. Ella Hoover chipped in 10 digs.

CASINO TRIP: New Riegel Athletic Boosters are having a casino bus trip to Eldorado Scioto Downs Oct. 13 leaving New Riegel High at 7:30 a.m. and returning by 5:30 p.m. Cost is $35, which includes $20 free play and $5 for food.
