JUNIOR HIGH VOLLEYBALL: Seneca East’s seventh grade beat Colonel Crawford 25-10, 25-12 on the strength of Alaina Chapman’s 13 aces and seven kills. Evynn Cheek served seven aces and Natalie Daniel had six aces, four kills and three assists.
n Seneca East’s eighth grade beat Colonel Crawford 16-25, 25-19, 25-18. Abbi Drosky drilled nine kills and three aces for Seneca East and Hannah Chaffee had three assists, three kills and two aces.
n Vermilion’s eighth grade topped Columbian 25-18, 19-25, 25-18. Michaela Griffin had five aces and two kills for TC, while Ana Morrison smashed four kills.
n Columbian’s seventh grade beat Vermilion 25-10, 25-17. Ella Kerschner totaled 13 aces and three kills, while Mara Renninger served three aces for TC.
n Calvert’s eighth grade defeated Hopewell-Loudon 25-10, 25-9. Allison Porter had six aces, three kills and three digs for Calvert, Jena Vera had three aces and two assists, Lydia Wellman added two aces, Olivia Miller tacked on four assists, two kills and three digs, Caroline Lanicek hammered four kills and a pair of blocks and Cecelia Palm and Morgan Elchert both made three digs. Carley Coffman clubbed three kills for H-L and Lydia Walters had two assists.
n Hopewell-Loudon beat Calvert’s seventh grade 25-21, 17-25, 25-22. Ashlyn Walters hammered 10 kills for H-L, Sidney Brickner had 14 assists, Brynn Sendelbach lined five aces and four kills and Isabella Humphrey served three aces. Calvert got nine aces, three kills and six digs from Addison King, six aces from Alyssa Rishty, seven aces and four digs by Isabella Lucius, three aces, two kills and 12 digs from Allison Ott and two kills and two digs from Kennedy Cleland.
JV BOYS GOLF: Blaise Wagner shot a 51 to lead Columbian against Sandusky at Mills Creek Tuesday. Jimmy Skidmore added a 54, Andrew Engle had a 59 and Isaac Stover ended with a 65.
* Lakota downed Old Fort 197-208 at Sycamore Hills. Carson Hills managed a 42 for the Raiders, while Cole Roush had a 50, Trevor Mathias posted a 51 and Alex Hollman ended with a 54. Alec King led the Stockaders with a 46. They also got a 54 from Dylan Baker, a 55 from Casey Clouse and a 53 from Simon Garza. Dre Toy and Pierson Steyer shot twin 62s.
