PREP GOLF: The Bellevue girls finished fifth out of 23 teams in the Edison Invite Wednesday as Lara Spurlock led the Lady Red with a 78. Olivia Martinez and Keyara Schneider shot twin 89s and Isabel Sanchez finished with a 102. Bellevue shot a 358, while Columbian was 17th with a 455. Clyde shot a 407 for 13th. Ali Woessner and Meredith Obringer shot 104s for TC, while Bailey Hull carded a 119 and Audrey Buskirk ended with a 128. Carly Marie Beck (131) and Breanna Brock (154) also competed.

n Kiley Cline led Hopewell-Loudon to a 215 score at Willard Golf Club Wednesday with a 43. Abbey Yarris added a 56, while Olivia Zender had a 57 and Morgan Searles compiled a 59. Hannah Fought shot a 64 and Kasey Thompson finished with a 68 for the Chieftains. Willard only had three girls compete.

n Tuesday, Bellevue’s Spurlock tied the school record for lowest score in nine holes with a 38. Overall, Bellevue topped Clyde 187-213 in an early-season Sandusky Bay Conference Lake Division matchup. Martinez carded a 45, while Aubrey Michaels had a 51 and Sanchez delivered a 53.

n Margaretta took care of Hopewell-Loudon 198-216 at Loudon Meadows Tuesday. Taylor Malson led the Polar Bears with a 44, while Cidney Lewis (48), Aubrey Thomas (52) and Elliana Schaefer (54) rounded out the scoring. For H-L, Cline fired a 44. It also got a 54 from Searles, a 57 by Zender and a 61 from Thompson. Fought (64) and Yarris (71) also competed.

GOLF: Tom Harple and Brian Ferguson lead the last five weeks of the Baumann Old Fort Ex-Hi League with 31 points. Prize winners were Scott Theis (longest putt No. 10), JJ Miller (closest second shot No. 13) and Dave Zigler (closest third shot No. 14).

n Prize winners for the Seneca Hills Tuesday Morning Ladies League were Suzanne Frank (closest to pin in two No. 10), Barb Kuhn (longest putt holes No. 12) and Carla Siebenaller (closest to pin on drive No. 18).

n After three weeks of the second half of the Amvets League at Seneca Hills, Eve Schafer and Tim Mannas lead with 52 points. In second with 46 points is Brian Krauss and Herb Love. Prize hole winners were Brian Miccichi (closest to pin in one No. 13), Krauss (long putt No. 10) and Rufus Tyree (closest to pin in one No. 18).
