GOLF: After five weeks of play in the second third of the Reineke Monday Morning Two-Man Scramble at Clinton Heights, Lou Grieselding and Steve Hepp lead with 24 ½ points. Prize winners went to Russ Eborg (closest in one No. 11), John Armstrong (closest in one No. 16), Gary Espejo (closest in two No. 15), Craig Neifer (long putt No. 15) and Kirk Steffani (closest in three No. 17).

n The team of Gary Hohman, Ken Zeop, Jim Heyman, Dale Wisebaker and Dutch Edeburn shot 2 under to win Monday’s Retirees League at Seneca Hills. Prize winners were Hohman (long putt No. 17), Zeop (closest to pin No. 16) and Don Kin and Dave Combs tied for the low gross with a 35.

n Prize winners for the Baumann’s Monday Night Women’s League at Clinton Heights went to Susan gibson, Barb Kuhn and Jeannine Curns. The low gross was a tie at 40 between the teams of Donna Thacker and Stephanie Miller and Barb Kuhn and Carla Siebenaller. The low net was also a tie at 30 between Sandy Benner and Joyce Hatley and Sandy Burns and Deb Wise.

SLOW PITCH: Sycamore Slow Pitch men’s league is forming. It starts in mid-July with the first six teams accepted. Old Timer’s Softball League starts in late-August with the first six teams accepted. Call Fuzz Bogard at (419) 927-5685 and leave a message.

SOFTBALL: The 39th annual Oak Harbor All-Nighter Tournament is July 12-13. Cost is $160 per team and $12 per umpire. Call Mike Williamson (419) 603-7687 for entry.

OHSAA MEETING: Upper Sandusky High School will have its fall sports parent meeting July 22 at 7 p.m. in the gym. Parents of all fall sports athletes are expected to attend. There will be a general meeting beginning at 7 p.m. Followed by individual sport meetings.

n Old Fort will hold its mandatory OHSAA fall sports meeting at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the gym. All parents and athletes are expected to attend. They will meet with the respective coach after the main meeting.

BASKETBALL CAMP: The Heidelberg men’s basketball team has several dates for camps this summer. They are July 16-19 (boys grades 6-9), which costs $125; July 22-23 (boys and girls Pre K-1), which costs $30; and July 24-26 (boys 2-5), which costs $100.
