GOLF: The open gym at Seneca Hills will begin today. Check in is at 11 a.m., with a golf ball in the air by 11:30 a.m. The gym is open to anyone who can break 55.

n The first 1/3 of the Old Fort Ex-Hi Over 50 League is led by Ed Correll and Steve Rau with 116 points each. Prizes were awarded to Ray Trautman (long putt on No. 11), Kevin Kramer (closest in two on No. 14) and Dick Hull (closest to pin on No. 16).

n Len Gosche remains in the top spot of the Phat Cakes Par Tee League with 115 points after Week 6. Jack Rose is in second (113) and Tim Cessna holds third (109). Gosche posted the low round with a 40. Cessna, Ray Nutter, Ron Schramm and Andy Halcomb each won skins. Prizes went to Schramm (pin shot on No. 14), Mike Gibson (long drive on No. 10), Halcomb (long putt on No. 15), Bryan Schalk (proximity shot on No. 13) and Jason Galitza (pin shot on No. 11).

n The team of Matt Litton and Josh Predieri won a skin in the Thursday K of C League. Prizes were won by Jeff Welty (closest to pin on No. 2), Tim Sacksteder (long putt on No. 4) and Ken Gooding (closet to pin on No. 5; long drive on No. 9).

HOLE-IN-ONE: Danielle Lofay made her first hole-in-one on No. 2 at Seneca Hills with a 5 iron. Witnesses were her parents and Jared Kuhlman who also shot a hole-in-one on the same hole two weeks ago.
