A Tiffin business owner arrested last week for allegedly purchasing stolen property appeared in Tiffin-Fostoria Municipal Court Wednesday.
Julian Garcia, 34, of Fremont, owner of Technical Fasionz, 76 E. Market St., a second-hand store, had an arraignment Tuesday and entered pleas of not guilty to attempted receiving stolen property and attempted obstructing official business, both misdemeanor charges. He also pleaded not guilty to an unclassified misdemeanor charge of a violation of a duty of a second-hand dealer that was filed Wednesday in court.
Garcia was arrested Aug. 19 on warrants charging him with attempted receiving stolen property and attempted obstructing official business. The warrants stemmed from a month-long investigation. Police also executed a search warrant at his store that day and seized laptops, cell phones and sales records.
A court trial for Garcia is scheduled for Oct. 27.
