'Movie with a Message' series returns Monday
St. Francis Spirituality Center, is to screen the film "Hidden Places" at 6:30 p.m. Monday. The story follows Eliza, a widowed mother of two children, trying to bring in the harvest before the bank forecloses on the family farm.
The doors open 6:15 p.m. in the air-conditioned Greecio Room. A brief discussion is to follow the movie. A free will offering is to be accepted. The Franciscan Earth Literacy Center is co-sponsoring the screening.

Summer church festivals in the area
Tiffin St. Joseph Festival is July 12-13 at 36 Melmore St.
Saturday's hours are 3-11 p.m. An Italian dinner is to be served at 5 p.m. in the school cafeteria. The festivities resume noon-10 p.m. Sunday. Chicken dinners are to be offered starting at 11 a.m. The grand prize is $10,000, with many other raffle prizes to be awarded.
FREMONT - Sacred Heart Parish in Fremont has set its festival for July 18-20 on the parish grounds, 550 Smith Road, Fremont.
Hours are 6-11:30 p.m. Friday, 5-11:30 p.m. Saturday and noon-6 p.m. Sunday.
From 11 a.m.- 2 p.m., there is to be a home cooked chicken, ribs or ham dinner. From 11 a.m.-3 p.m., there will be raffles, a baked goods and craft sale, instant bingo, a 50/50 drawing and Kids' Land. The raffle drawing is at 3 p.m.
The church is 6 miles south of Bellevue.
Outdoor adoration planned in Carey
CAREY - Our Lady of Consolation is to host outdoor Eucharistic adoration 7-10 p.m. July 18 in Shrine Park.
Come at 6 p.m. for food and a meet-and-greet. In the event of bad weather, adoration is to move into the basilica.
Agencies, church collaborate for suicide program
TOLEDO Compartiendo Esperanza (Sharing Hope) and Suicide Prevention are to sponsor a seminar 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. July 19 at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, 728 S. St. Clair, Toledo.
NAMI of Greater Toledo is to give the presentation in English to educate the community about mental health signs and symptoms, treatment and support, empathy and recovery.
