Juanita I. (Stanfield) Cain

Juanita I. (Stanfield) Cain, 88, of Findlay, died at 5:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at Birchaven Village.

She was born Dec. 22, 1924, in Hancock County, to Donald and Bertha (Brooks) Stanfield, who are now deceased. She married Charles W. Cain June 22, 1952, in Findlay. They were divorced Feb. 1, 1972, and he died Oct. 16, 1982.

Surviving are two sisters, Carole (Stanfield) Miller of Tiffin and Arthella (Stanfield) Mueller of Findlay, and a brother, Wayne Stanfield of Benton Ridge.

She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Doyle Stanfield and Paul Noel Stanfield.

Mrs. Cain was a member of First Christian Church and graduated from Findlay High School in 1943. Mrs. Cain was a retiree of Cooper Tire & Rubber Company and formerly worked at National Fibers, Thomas Jewelers and Geo. Ede Building and Realty Company. She was a Camp Fire Girls Leader, a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Jaycettes and a past member of the Republican Woman's Organization.

A private graveside service will be at a later date. Burial will at Maple Grove Cemetery, Findlay.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Botany Department of The University of Findlay.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Coldren-Crates Funeral Home, Findlay.
