Jean Y. Heibertshausen

Jean Y. Heibertshausen, 77, of Attica, died Thursday, July 25, 2013, at Ruffing Family Care Center, Bloomville.

She was born Aug. 24, 1935, in Willard, to Henry M. and Doris (Mills) Featheringill. Mrs. Heibertshausen was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and the Dorcus Circle of the church. She was a member of the former Johnny Appleseed Chapter of the DAR, Attica Lioness and Lions Clubs, and enjoyed knitting, crocheting, cooking, baking and judging needle projects at the Attica fair.

Mrs. Heibertshausen is survived by two sons, Tom (Karen) Heibertshausen and Jim (Ann) Heibertshausen, both of Attica; three daughters, Linda (Steve) Detillion of Tiffin, Mary (Randy) Moore of Willard and Kathy (Steve) Schoen of Bellevue; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four stepgreat-grandchildren; and a sister, Ruth Gangluff of Tiffin.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene A. Heibertshausen who preceded her in death in 1999; and two grandchildren.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Attica, with Pastor Edward Hunker officiating. Burial will follow at Attica-Venice Twp. Cemetery, Attica.

Friends may call from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Monday at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Stein Hospice or Activity Fund at Ruffing Family Care Center in care of the funeral home.
