Edna May Walters, 88, of Bellevue, passed away Wednesday, July 17, 2013, at The Willows at Bellevue.
She was born June 7, 1925, in Tiffin, the daughter of Gilbert and Hazel (Taylor) Garland. She married Louis Walters July 29, 1945, in Fireside.
Edna was a homemaker. She was an active member of Fireside United Church of Christ. Throughout the years, she helped with Sunday school, participated in the choir and many other activities. She enjoyed gardening; especially, caring for her flowers, reading and taking walks in the woods.
She is survived by her two sons, Roger (Kathie) of Clyde and Ken (Carol) of Huron; a daughter, Becky (Steve) Burroughs of Bellevue; eight grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl Garland of Defiance; and a sister, Ruth Briehl of Tiffin.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
All services will be private. Arrangements entrusted to Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue.
