Sunday, is Relay for Life Day at Jolly's Drive-In. Volunteers from the Seneca County American Cancer Society Relay for Life team are volunteering their time between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. to work as carhops, counter help and kitchen help to raise funds for the Relay for Life.
The volunteers plan to wear special T-shirts for the day. Tips collected are to benefit the American Cancer Society along with money from a 50/50 raffle. Other fundraising activities will be taking place as well.
"We really appreciate Diane Hassinger and her staff allowing us to raise funds to battle cancer on Sunday," Bernie Steinmetz, a member of the committee and organizer of the event, said. "We encourage everyone to come out on Sunday and enjoy a root beer and a chili dog or one of the other delicious items on the Jolly's menu and support our fight against cancer at the same time. We promise our carhops will treat you great and work hard for their tips."
