May 21, 2013
The Advertiser-Tribune

Two women were taken to Mercy Tiffin Hospital after a three-vehicle accident involving a semi-truck Monday on US 224 near SR 100. Trooper Matt Manly of the State Highway Patrol said Joyce Angelbeck, 66, of Tiffin, and Linda Niederkohr, 61, of Republic, were taken to the hospital after a truck driven by Roy Zimmerman, 63, of Michigan, struck Angelbeck's car from behind, pushing it into Niederkohr's vehicle. Zimmerman, who was not injured, was cited with failure to maintain assured clear distance ahead. A spokeswoman from the Seneca County Sheriff's Office said Clinton firefighters and Tiffin EMS responded to the accident, which was reported at 4:17 p.m.
