PLYMOUTH - Seneca East erased a 2-0 hole with a five-run third Wednesday en route to beating Plymouth 6-4 in a Division IV sectional final.
The win propels the Tigers (20-3) into next Wednesday's 2 p.m. district semifinal against Crestline at Colonel Crawford.
Mason McWilliams (7-1) got the win, fanning nine and scattering five hits and two walks.
Plymouth (20-6) took a 2-0 lead in the top of the first on Bret Roberts' two-run homer.
The Big Red later scored two in the fifth to cut their deficit to 5-4, but Seneca East tacked on an insurance run in the bottom of the frame and held Plymouth scoreless from there.
Jordan Bowerman added an RBI triple in the third inning for Seneca East, Adam Bauman doubled in a run in the fifth and also singled, and Ethan Caudill chased in two runs with two singles.

Late run, Elchert's record lift Senecas
Jacob Zimmerman singled home Brendan Deats in the bottom of the seventh and Eric Elchert set the school record for single-season strikeouts Wednesday as Calvert upended Lakota 12-11 in Midland Athletic League play.
"They're a good hitting team and they kind of handled our pitchers. But in the end we were able to put Eric Elchert in and he was able to shut them down for a couple innings," Calvert coach Dustin Ritchie said.
"It was very clutch pitching by Eric Elchert, who was able to come back and get a strikeout to end the [top of] the seventh and set the school's strikeout record," he said.
The Senecas seemed to have the game in hand early, plating six in the second to go up 8-1.
The Raiders countered with five runs in the third. Then, after Calvert scored single runs in the fourth and fifth innings, Lakota answered with a four-run burst in the top of the sixth for a 10-10 tie.
But Calvert got another run in the bottom of the sixth, and both teams scored once in the seventh.
Elchert got the win with two innings of relief. He allowed no earned runs and no hits, allowing just a walk and striking out three.
The final strikeout ended the top of the seventh, giving him a school record 76 this year.
Deats ended 3 for 4 with three runs and two doubles for the Senecas. Austin Perry chased in three runs with a double and single, Elchert had three RBIs off two singles and Zimmerman added another RBI.
Matt Iannantuono scored twice and singled twice and Sam Shelt-Palm lined two singles.
Jack Raymond suffered the loss for the Raiders.
Gavin Sprow knocked in five runs with a double and two singles. Tiger Jaso scored four runs and singled twice, Dakota Gilbert drove in three runs with two singles and Kody Brewer scored twice and singled twice.
