Heidelberg celebrated student achievements at the annual Student Awards Celebration April 26.
Local winners include Kelsey Haynes, of Tiffin, awarded the American Association of University Women Prize; Anna Sisco, of Bettsville, awarded the Arther and Helen Bean award in music; Nicholas Saxton, of Tiffin, awarded the Paul H. Hoerneman Memorial Prize in music; Linda Mapus, of Clyde, awarded the Edward Lamb Foundation Prize in Business Administration and Economics; Susan Daniel, of Sycamore, awarded the A.G. McQuate Award in Field Biology; Corey Gabel, of Tiffin, awarded the Outstanding Student Employee of the Year; Nathan Somers, of Tiffin, awarded the Martin A. Reno Emerging Scholar Prize in Computing; Jonathan Miller, of Tiffin, awarded the E.J. Shives Prize in Chemistry; Chelsea Carley, of Tiffin, awarded the E.I.F. Williams Memorial Prize in Education; and Christopher Clinger, of Upper Sandusky, awarded the E.I.F. Williams Memorial Prize in Education.
Amy Berger, professor of geology, also was selected by students as the faculty member of the year.
