Helen Emma Hepperly

Helen Emma Hepperly, 90, of Tiffin, died at 1 p.m. Sunday, April 21, 2013, at Good Shepherd Nursing Home, Fostoria.

Helen was born Sept. 29, 1922, in Attica, to Hubert "Dale" and Emma Lucille (Bollinger) Cooley.

Helen is survived by a daughter, Sharon Ann (Patrick) Huffman of Tiffin; daughter-in-law, Patricia Ann Hepperly of Findlay; seven grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Robert Larry Hepperly; a brother, Floyd Cooley; and two sisters, Geraldine Frost and Alice Scott.

Helen retired from the phone company after 37 years. She was a member of Trinity United Church of Christ and Telephone Pioneers, volunteered for the American Red Cross for more than 30 years and enjoyed playing cards. Helen was a 1941 graduate of Scipio Republic High School.

Her funeral will be 11 a.m. Thursday, April 25, 2013, at Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, 135 N. Washington St., Tiffin, (419) 447-1221, with the Rev. Dr. Louis Dorsch officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery, Bloomville.

Visitation will be 10-11 a..m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to Trinity United Church of Christ.
