Richard Carl Heyman

Richard Carl Heyman, 73, of Attica, died Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at his home.

Mr. Heyman was born Aug. 20, 1939, in Attica, to Sylvan A. and Irene (Smith) Heyman Sr. He served in the United States Navy during the Korean War on the USS Randolf. He was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and retired from farming and Midwest Industries. He loved the outdoors where he hiked, took long walks and enjoyed going to auctions.

Mr. Heyman is survived by three nephews, Ron (Cathy) Heyman and Doug (Tonya) Heyman, both of Attica, and Eric (Sharon) Heyman of Monroeville, and a sister-in-law, Maxine Heyman of Attica.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Sylvan Junior Heyman.

His funeral will be 10 a.m. Saturday, March 30, 2013, at Lindsey-Foos-Kocher Funeral Service, 295 W. Tiffin St., Attica, OH 44807, with Pastor Edward Hunker presiding. Burial will follow at Hunts Corner Cemetery.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until the time of the funeral Saturday at the funeral home.
