Nancy K. Kirchner 75, of Angleton, Texas, and formerly Tiffin, passed away peacefully Saturday, Feb. 2, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
Nancy was born Oct. 26, 1937, in Tiffin, to Glen and Kathyrn Chaffee. She married Edward Kirchner Sr. March 15, 1956, and he preceded her in death.
Surviving are her six children, Ed (Suki) Kirchner of Old Fort, Cheryl (Gary) Soley of Angleton, Texas, Glenn (Kay) Kirchner and Richard Kirchner, both of Tiffin, and Mike Kirchner and April Kirchner, both of Angleton, Texas; 14 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ben Chaffee and Glen Chaffee, both of Sycamore; and three sisters, Marilyn Martin of Tiffin, Glenna West of Fort Seneca and Deb Magers of Tiffin.
Nancy also was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Terry Kirchner; and one brother.
Nancy enjoyed spending quality time with her grandchildren, walking the beach at Galveston Island, and her "get togethers" with her friends at Sweeny House. Nancy's greatest joy came from walking her special companion, "Lilly" her little dog. Lilly brought many hours of joy and laughter to Nancy's life.
There will be private family services in Jones Creek, Texas. Engle-Shook Funeral Home and Crematory, Tiffin, is assisting the family with their local arrangements.
Memorial contributions should be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
