An open house is planned Thursday at Seneca County Youth Center.
At 10 a.m., invited officials and community leaders are to meet in the gymnasium of the youth center for an opening event. This is to include remarks by Judge Jay Meyer and others close to the project.
The public is invited to tour the new youth center 1-2 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. Thursday. After youths are transferred from the current facility to the new facility, public tours no longer would be available.
Area schools work with Seneca County Juvenile Court and the youth center staff. From 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Thursday, school officials and personnel can tour the new facility.
