Doris M. Kramer

Doris M. Kramer, 84, of Tiffin, passed away Friday morning, Jan. 11, 2013, at St. Francis Home, Tiffin.

She was born Aug. 9, 1928, in Tiffin, to Edwin and Emma (Mellinger) Graham. She married Robert C. Kramer April 15, 1950, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, New Riegel, and he preceded her in death July 24, 2009.

Survivors include two daughters, Cheryl (Jim) Perry-Reinhart of Tiffin and Janine Wetherell of Upper Sandusky; three sons, Ron (Jane) Kramer of Kalamazoo, Mich., Bob (Gina Nicholson) Kramer of Worthington and Joe (Michelle) Kramer of Tiffin; a brother, Donald (Connie) Graham of Clearwater, Fla.; special nephew, Tom (Carol) Graham of Tiffin; 14 grandchildren, Jason Perry, Andrew Kramer, Chad Perry, Jon Perry, Sarah Kramer, Ashley Reinhart, Katie Reinhart, Danny Perry, Aaron Wetherell, Laura Wetherell, Katie Wetherell, Alexandra Kramer, Nicholas McCollum and Olivia Kramer; and five great-grandchildren, Avery Perry, Rylan Perry, Cameron Gayheart, Isabella Viera and Michael Perry.

Preceding her in death were her parents; stepfather, Kenneth Graham; a brother, Gene Graham; a sister, Shirley Cullison; and son-in-law, Mike Perry.

Doris was a 1946 graduate of Columbian High School and a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. She retired in 1991, after 22 years at Continental Cablevision. After retirement, she worked at St. Mary parish office part time for 10 years and volunteered for the welcoming committee. She enjoyed camping, especially in Florida, and traveling. Most of all, Doris enjoyed being a mother and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Her Mass of Christian burial will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 14, 2013, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin, with the Rev. Michael Roemmele and the Rev. Frank Murd concelebrating. Burial will follow at St. Mary Catholic Cemetery, Tiffin. The rosary will be prayed 20 minutes prior to Mass.

Friends may visit with the family 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, at Hoffmann-Gottfried-Mack Funeral Home & Crematory, 236 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883, (419) 447-2424. A Christian wake service will begin at 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Mary Catholic Church, Bridge Hospice or Calvert Catholic Schools.
