Franklin E. Scott, 76, of Fostoria, died Monday, Oct. 8, 2012.
He was born Feb. 18, 1936, in Fostoria, to Homer and Eva Jane (Ball) Scott. He married LaFaun L. Keckler Dec. 4, 1957, in Fostoria, and she died Sept. 17, 2007. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran.
He is survived by two sons, Randy (Lori) Scott of Peru, Ind., and Ricky (Selena) Scott of Fostoria; three daughters, Diane Thompson of Findlay and Debra (Bob) Bohanon and Patricia (Richard) Pope, both of Fostoria; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Pete Scott of Fostoria.
He also was preceded by in death by his parents; four brothers, Galen, Ray, Jim and John Scott; and four sisters, Betty Sheller, Helen Augsburger, Agnus Haynes and Rozella Ball.
His funeral is 1 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, 2012, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria, with the Rev. Donald Goodwin officiating. Burial will follow at Knollcrest Gardens, Arcadia, with military honors provided by the United Veterans of Fostoria.
Visitation is two hours prior to the funeral at the funeral home.
