Tiffin women vs. Findlay

February 9, 2013 - Zach Baker
Tiffin and Findlay tied at four at first media timeout. Sloppy, sloppy play.

Tiffin's offense has been just plain bad here. Not only are the Dragons not hitting their shots, but Jess Harris isn't getting any touches. Harris is coming off a tough game against Hillsdale, and she's been a non-factor here in the first half. Findlay hasn't been great either, but has been good enough to hold a 13-5 advantage with 6:30 left in the half.

If Jess doesn't get going, or if her teammates can't get her the ball, it's hard to envision a scenerio where Tiffin wins.

I haven't seen TU's offense this out of sorts since the Ashland game, when the Eagles opened the game on an 18-0 run. It's not that bad here, but it's going in that direction as the Dragons trail 21-7 at the 3:30 mark of the first half. Findlay has started to work its offense inside, using its length to draw fouls and get to the free throw line. Findlay on a 23-3 run as Kayla Brown has nine.

Tiffin trails 29-17 at the half. Not bad considering it shot 5 of 20 from the floor.

With 14:50 left in regulation, Tiffin is trailing Findlay. Brown has 15, but Tiffin's offense just hasn't been very strong, especially around the basket. Harris has been on the bench for a good deal of the second half so far. It's now 39-24 Findlay at the 13:57 mark.
