Farmers count your blessings

Established famers complaining about the wet weather this spring, “count your blessings.” You shouldn’t be hurting as much as some of the others. Maybe God is trying to tell us all something. Greed is everywhere.

Maybe I’m prejudice. I believe northern Ohio is one of the best agricultural parts of our nation. Let us thank God.

When things are going well the way we want it, we seem to forget God. We are all guilty of that.

We have freedom to make our own choices. We often get into our messes, living beyond our means, borrowing too much, taking too much risk, never expecting a bad year and then it comes. It can be devastating.

I’ve heard it said, “no one has more faith than a farmer.” I believe it. Now is the time to use it.
