Norman Provonsil, 87, of Bellevue, died Sunday, Dec. 8, 2019, at The Bellevue Hospital.
He was born April 23, 1932, in Providence, Rhode Island, to Clifford and Ida (Auger) Provonsil. He married Jane Ann McNamara Feb. 12, 1955, in Cranston, Rhode Island.
Mr. Provonsil served 1952 to 1954 in the United States Army in the Korean War.
Survivors include his children, Mike (Brenda) Provonsil of Beavercreek, Stephen (Stephanie) Provonsil of Gardner, Massachusetts and Ann Marie (Bill) Kerstetter of Bellevue; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren with another on the way; brother, Kenny Provonsil of Lexington, Alabama; and daughter-in-law, Prissy Provonsil of Texas.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; his son, Norman Provonsil; brothers: Cliff and Donald; and his sister, Eileen.
Friends will be received 4-7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 12, at Foos and Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Pl., Bellevue. A rosary will be recited at 3:45 p.m. prior to visitation.
His funeral Mass will begin at 11 a.m. Friday, Dec. 13, at Immaculate Conception Church, 231 E. Center St., Bellevue. Burial will follow in Bellevue Catholic Cemetery.
