Olive Mygrant, 92, of Bellevue, died Wednesday, Nov. 6, 2019, at Stein Hospice Care Center, Sandusky.
She was born July 29, 1927, in Ballville Village, to Artis McClellan and Edna Mae (Smith) Taylor. She married Keith E. “Pete” Mygrant Oct. 1, 1944, in Ballville. He preceded her in death Jan. 2018.
Mrs. Mygrant is survived by her eight children, Randee (Charles) Becker, Gail (Franklin) Veith, James (Marla) Mygrant, Thomas (Pamela) Mygrant, Kenneth Mygrant, Beverly (Richard) Holmes, Jeffrey (Cynthia) Mygrant and Robin Mygrant; 23 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren with 1 expected soon; five great-great-grandchildren with one expected soon; and two great-great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; five siblings, Ernest Ray Taylor, Thelma Lucille Taylor Boni, Artis McClellan Taylor II, Robert Earl Taylor and Betty Jane Taylor Shaffer; and three great-grandsons.
Friends will be received 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at Foos & Foos Funeral Service, 151 Yorkshire Place, Bellevue. A celebration of Olive’s life will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at Flat Rock Ebenezer United Methodist Church, 7500 County Road 29, Flat Rock. Burial will follow in Meadowgreen Memorial Park, Huron.
