James R. Grahl
James R. Grahl, 90, of Bloomville, passed away Saturday, Nov. 23, 2019, at the home of his companion, Lois Showman.
He was born May 6, 1929, in Sandusky, to Emil J. and Sophia K. (Koehler) Grahl. He married Donna Burr and she passed away Dec. 26, 1996.
Other survivors include his daughter, Lori J. Grahl of Panama City Beach, Florida; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his companion, Lois Showman of Bloomville.
James was preceded in death by his parents; wife; two sons, Steven James Grahl and David Brian Grahl; and two brothers, Elmer C. and Irvin E. Grahl.
James was a 1947 graduate of Sandusky High School and a United States Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict.
He was employed at the Sandusky Foundry as a production scheduler and retired in 1991. He was a member of the Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Sandusky, Sandusky VFW and Amvets.
There will be private family services Wednesday, Nov. 27, 2019, in Restlawn Memorial Park, Sandusky.
Lindsey-Shook Funeral Home, 3085 S. St. Rt. 19, Bloomville, is assisting the family with their arrangements.
