Christopher Lee Earhart

Christopher Lee Earhart, 47, of Clyde, died Thursday, Nov. 28, 2019, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

He was born Nov. 23, 1972, in Bellevue, to Lionel and Susan Ritter Earhart. He married Jacqueline S. Rathburn April 14, 1992, and she survives.

He served in the U. S. Navy for 20 years, 1991-2011.

He is also survived by a daughter, Amber Earhart (Jason Smith) of Sandusky; parents, Susan and Tom Leber of Clyde and Lionel Earhart of Port Clinton; and five siblings, Wendy (Jerry) Woodland and Amy Holmes (Mike Golembiowski) both of Clyde, Erik (Stephanie) Leber of Ostrander, Bryan (Skye) Leber of Naples, Florida and Elizabeth (Brad) Thieroff of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

Visitation will be 3-7 p.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 2019, at Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home, 218 South Main St., Clyde. The funeral, with Pastor Tim Wisehart officiating, will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, at the funeral home. Military honors will follow at the grave at McPherson Cemetery, Clyde.
