Carol R. Roth

Carol R. Roth, 91, of Concord, Massachusetts, formally of Newton andNeedham, Massachsetts, died Friday, Oct. 5, 2019 at Rivercrest of Newbury Ct., Concord, Massachusetts.

She was born Dec. 1, 1927, in Newton, Massachusetts, to Donald and Charlotte (Harris) Root. She married Charles H. Roth June 24, 1950, and he survives in Concord.

Survivors also include a son, Charles “Chip” (Linda) Roth of Bedford, Massachusetts; a daughter, Deborah (Larry) Kisabeth of Tiffin; grandchildren; Kathleen, C. Jay, Robert (Laura) Kisabeth and Emily Roth; three great-grandchildren, Griffin, Bishop and Cade Kisabeth; a sister, Charlotte Morse of Northampton, Massachusetts; a sister-in-law, Patricia Root of Eastham, Massachusetts; a brother-in-law, James Roth of Lincoln, Massachusetts; along with nieces and nephews.

Carol was a graduate of Wheelock College and she was a reading specialist for Newton Public Schools. She was an avid knitter, quilter, and tennis player. Carol was treasurer of Needham Garden Club. She loved riding her bike on Cape Cod.

Services will begin at 11a.m. Sunday, Oct. 20, 2019, in the Duvall Chapel at Newbury Court in Concord, Massachusetts.
