Kevin Mark ‘Zart’ Zartman

Kevin Mark “Zart” Zartman, 58, was called home Sunday, Sept. 15, 2019. He passed away at the Cleveland Clinic with his family around him.

He was born Nov. 6, 1960, in Ashtabula, to David and Dolores Zartman. Dolores passed away Jan. 30, 1968, and David passed away Aug. 17, 2019.

Survivors include two children, Breanna Lyn (Brandon) Biller of Tiffin and Jordan Riley Zartman of Fostoria; and a granddaughter, Riley Mae Zartman of Tiffin.

Kevin was a 1979 graduate of Tiffin Columbian High School, a 1983 graduate of Terra State Community College with a degree in culinary arts, and a 1985 graduate of the Toledo Hospitality Institute. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Seneca Lodge No.790 and Bloomville Lions Club.

He was a loving and devoted son, father and grandfather and just loved being with his family. He could always be found at the Tiffin Cab stand laughing with the other employees or chatting with customers. His laugh was infectious and he almost always had time to visit with anyone.

A memorial and celebration of his life will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 28, 2019, at Tiffin Eagles.

There will be no visitation or burial at this time.

Engle-Shook Funeral Home & Crematory in Tiffin is assisting the family with arrangements.
