Franklin V. Kuenzli
Franklin V. Kuenzli, 80, of Upper Sandusky, died Friday, Aug. 9, 2019, at Kobacker House, Columbus.
He was born June 15, 1939, in Bucyrus, to the late Vinton and Naomi (Neate) Kuenzli. He married Joyce Case Sept. 1, 1962, at First Lutheran Church and she survives in Upper Sandusky.
He also is survived by four children, Rhonda (Mike “Rooster”) Kuenzli of Upper Sandusky, Kindra (Don) Kaiser of Atlanta, Georgia, Kyle Kuenzli of Upper Sandusky and Karenda Palmer of Cornelius, North Carolina; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He served in the U.S. Army and National Guard for six years.
His funeral will begin at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14, at Lucas-Batton Funeral Home, Upper Sandusky, with the Rev. Kathleen Shuck officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery with military graveside rites conducted by Upper Sandusky Color Guard.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, at the funeral home. A Masonic service will be at 4 p.m. and an Elks service at 8 p.m.
