Jack L. Hartley Sr.
Jack L. Hartley Sr., 67, of Fostoria, died Sunday, May 12, 2019, at James Cancer Hospital, Columbus.
He was born Nov. 7, 1951, in Fostoria, to Dale and Maxine (Craley) Hartley. He married Christine Martin May 15, 1970, in Fostoria, and she died Jan. 30, 2013. He then married Linda (Millirons) DeVaughn Sept. 30, 2017, in Fostoria, and she survives.
Also surviving are his son, Jackie Lee (Dawn) Hartley Jr. of Fostoria; daughters, Teresa (Rich) Cassady of Risingsun and Jenny (Pratt) Robinson of Fostoria; stepchildren, Scott and Stephanie DeVaughn, both of Columbus; brother, Jim (Pam) Hartley of Arlington; nine grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Mr. Hartley was an U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Vietnam War.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019, at Harrold-Floriana Funeral Home, Fostoria with a wake service at 8 p.m.
A Mass of resurrection will begin at 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2019, at St. Wendelin Church in Fostoria, with the Rev. Todd Dominique officiating. The rosary will be prayed at 10 a.m. at the church. Burial will be in St. Wendelin Parish Cemetery with military honors conducted by United Veterans Group of Fostoria at the Veteran’s Memorial Chapel.
