Nancy Ellen Conley
Nancy Ellen Conley, 68, of Tiffin, passed away Saturday, Dec. 1, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Born April 6, 1950, she was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Phyllis Perry; and brother, Larry.
Nancy graduated from Tiffin Columbian High School in 1968. She lived in Tiffin with her husband, John Conley Jr., and they were devoted to each other throughout their 44 years of marriage. Nancy was an incredible mother to Kathi (Conley) Elmore and Christy (Conley) O’Malley and an amazing grandmother to her two grandsons, Collin and Matthew Elmore.
Nancy was strong in her faith and had an incredibly generous heart. She lived her life by being an example to others by teaching Sunday school and serving her community for many years. Nancy enjoyed reading and cooking for her loved ones. Nancy was described by others as incredibly kind, warm and as having a caring smile that touched the lives of everyone around her.
Nancy will be sadly missed by her four brothers, Chris Perry of Florida, Harry Perry of Virginia, Tim (Nancy) Perry of Tiffin and Stephen Perry of Michigan; and three sisters, Susan (John) Trausch of Tiffin, Deborah (Tom) Cook of Bloomville and Pamela (Kevin) Hunter of Republic.
Nancy’s life will be celebrated in a memorial service at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Dec 4, 2018, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 570 Spayth St., Tiffin, with a reception to follow. Timson & Melroy Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
