Stanley W. Weber, 94, of Tiffin, passed away Sunday morning, Sept. 30, 2018, at Good Shepherd Home, Fostoria.

He was born May 10, 1924, in Tiffin, to Valentine and Josephine (Kazarowski) Weber. He married Anna Louise Decker Dec. 28, 1943, and she preceded him in death in 2015.

Survivors include a son, Thomas A. Weber of Connecticut; five grandchildren, Thomas, Lisa, Stefan, Alice and Andrea; and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 72 years, Anna; four brothers, Andrew, Joseph, Phillip and John; and three sisters, Veronica Weber, Frances Galba and Joann Polter.

Stanley was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and attended Tiffin Calvert High School. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II from April 25, 1944, to Jan. 25, 1946. He worked as a machinist at National Machinery, retiring in 1985, and was a member of their Quarter Century Club. Stanley was a Notre Dame football fan, attending more than 426 games since 1941, was a Cleveland Indians fan and enjoyed bowling, playing cards and volunteering for Seneca County Agency Transportation.

Friends may visit and share stories 8:30 a.m. until the time of the Mass Saturday, at St. Mary Catholic Church, Tiffin.

A Mass of Christian burial will begin at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, 2018, at St. Mary Catholic Church, with the Rev. Gary Walters officiating. Burial with military honors conducted by the United Veterans Council will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to S.T.E.M. Weber Scholarship Fund at Calvert Catholic Schools or St. Mary Catholic Church.
